Grand Esen Hotel

Service, breakfast bedroom views and location! There were a few both little and not so little issues while I was there, but both Jon and Lewis from the front desk were always very attentive and took care of anything that happened. I told the owner in person but want to document here too: Jon is phenomenal!!!

Breakfast was very good, eggs, vegetables, lot of salad choices, enough and good to make yourself full. The location was amazing...it is on a walking distance of lot of sightseeing stations and public transportation is right on the minut from hotel..amazing location. Litterally you are a 20 seconds to train stations, and minute to Eminonu where you can get a fairy to Kadikoy (Asian side). A 5 minute walk to Galata bridge, a 30 minute walk to Galata tower, a 10 minutes Walk to sultanahmet, Hagia sofia, Kapali charsi....amazing. Lot of nice restaurants in front of hotel, and there is a small market where you can buy food, wather and supplies just by the hotel. The view from our room was on Galata bridge and Galata tower,and it was breathtaking. The staff on the reception was extremely helpfull, on the point and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, Uveys and Ismail, the best reception staff ever..thank you very much for hospitality, and for upgrading our room for free. They also can help you with transportation from airport or organizing a bosphorus cruise. And the specal touch is Kowboy Yeri, who is always there to say hello and make a guests feel just like they are at home., The sheets are clean and fresh, and the towels are changed every day.

The front desk, especially Ismail was super helpful, offering to book a taxi from the airport on arrival. They were all very friendly. I left on labour day with no public transport so was very stressed, but again, he was super helpful. Lovely staff, great location. I got upgraded for 2 of the 3 nights of my trip as a bigger room with a better view was available. The aircon didn't work and they fixed it quickly. Good breakfast.

Everything was great! The location is right in the center of Istanbul, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, and it's easy to explore the city on foot from here. You’ll get to experience everything this beautiful part of Istanbul has to offer. The staff is amazing and very helpful — ÜVEYS, for example, was incredibly polite and always happy to assist or answer any of my questions. If you’re visiting Istanbul for a short stay, you should definitely check in here!

The location is great, the staff was incredible, I am a solo traveler and they were super kind and protective with me, they gave me excellent advise and they even show me some great places to eat and buy. Breakfast was great it has different options and it was delicious. They clean the room daily which is very nice and they were very helpful :)
